sony vegas for linux without wine

I realize that almost everyone who installs Sony Vegas on Windows is a pirate, but I know a lot of people who would pay to have Sony Vegas in a Linux distro. I for example among many other people would make a point of paying if it was for a Linux distro. Sony Vegas can run using Wine, but it looks horrible and slow. If the company does it for a Linux distro, it will certainly earn good money because no one does piracy on a Linux distro. Sony Vegas is awesome and works without the need for an external graphics card. In linux distro there are several editor options, but Sony Vegas is more visually tidy and more complete.

Sony (SCS) is not likely to develop VEGAS any more as the software was acquired by MAGIX mid-2016.

You open with "I realize that almost everyone who installs Sony Vegas on Windows is a pirate," this is based on your wide knowledge of using pirated s/w or on what?

For native Linux get this one: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve/

Two versions: Free and "Studio' version which will cost you some money..

Provide your email and some other information and download the free version to see if it works and if you like it.

You'll need a robust newer computer and spend some time learning.
