You can make the text appear to hover over the video using the Stereoscopic 3D effect.

But, no, in Movie Studio you can't produce actual three-dimensional text.

Thanks for the info and yes I do have a copy of that but the text itself is flat.

Another option, though it may take some time to learn, would be to use a 3D modeling system such as POV-Ray or Blender to create the title sequence which you could then import into Movie Studio as 3D media.
