Also consider that, since you can't even add a photo to your project without it crashing -- something virtually no one else is experiencing -- maybe the issue is with your computer.

Operator error, blame the tool.

adimatis wrote on 5/29/2020, 9:04 AM

@D7K What a shame the tool is indeed broken! Regardless of the operator, some tools are to blame in some areas. Only someone either very lucky or shallow will see no problems where there are some.

vkmast wrote on 5/29/2020, 10:40 AM

@adimatis so you're experiencing the same as veera?

Or they just have the skills and intelligence to use the tools correctly. Tired of the Trolls here, we need some heavy moderation or wise this forum will continue to have posts without substance IMHO.

@veera-m Maybe make available via download link, dropbox etc, an offending sample picture/video and we can see if the media is the problem, is it with all media or just these that u cannot load. Maybe post mediainfo of media if u cannot make available.

Vegas doesn't "download" pictures or files, it is a non-linear video editing application. Knowing the difference may be the first step towards fixing your problem.

Systems:

Desktop

AMD Ryzen 7 1800x 8 core 16 thread at stock speed

64GB 3000mhz DDR4

Geforce RTX 3090

Windows 10

Laptop:

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 32GB (9980HK CPU, RTX 2060 GPU, dual 4K touch screens, main one OLED HDR)

veera-m, Why the nasty tone?

What you should do is make it clear what specific problem you are experiencing with Vegas Pro. If it is a crashing issue with importing certain video files or images, describe it and we here will point you into finding a solution..... if it is occuring with everything you import or do, then something on your system is the cause of your Vegas issues.

adimatis, as always waiting in the wings only to see a ranting or explicit post, jumping into it only to add your own.

@veera-m

I can not remember a thread in this forum, in which a user would not have been helped at least to the extent that he could work with this software. And if it was at least a suitable workaround.
The prerequisite is, of course, that the problems are clearly and factually explained.
