Time display and left headers disappeared

AllieB wrote on 12/21/2021, 1:09 PM

Suppose I made a click somewhere in the screen and now the time display and the names of the timeline disappeared. There are now small colums. When I move the mouse over the time display the double lined figure pops up which suggest you can expand these fields. However nothing happens even when I push control or shift together. A search on the forum didn´t help either and in the preferences I can only find methods how the timecode will look.

I am sure earlier today everything works fine so it could only me who disturbed this. A new start didn´t help

Working with the left mouse opens the menus that isn´t the problem but guessing at what point the cursos is actually is more difficult.

Working with Vegas Pro 19 (458) on a Windows 10 machine( 21H2 19044.1415) with plenty of diskspace and 32GB ram. Nvidia GTX 780 driver 30.0.14.7212.

My English isn´t that good so I hope I described the problem correct.

Thank you in advance for your help.

As the thread vkmast pointed to says, when you see that, double-click. Or drag to the right, but you have to drag a fairly long way before it actually expands. If all else fails, choose View | Window Layouts | Default layout.

This is even my default view of the Track Header, because it gives you extra Timeline space. The Tools in the Track Header can be made easy visible/hided when needed, as Gary explained by double clicking the space between header and timeline.

Drag the splitter between the timeline and the track headers, or double click on that small thing space between the two areas.

@vkmast @gary-rebholz @VEGASDerek

Thank you all for your response, doubleclick fixed the issue.

@3POINT

Thank you, you´re right but I didn´t know how to handle; now I can switch.
