A little bug. When using 'd' to switch between edit tools, it pages from normal - envelope - selection - zoom, but then it stops at zoom. Pressing d again does not return to normal edit as it does on Vegas 13.
Maybe not a bug, but a deliberate (?) change if Shift+D is still there?
Maybe , but to me it would seem odd for the team to deliberately change something that worked consistently one way (and well ) in the last two versions at least , to working less well in this one - especially when all the other changes in 14 seem to have be well thought-out
Maybe streamlining for some reason like dropping e.g. the Expand track layers option. Only the devs and higher ups know.
Hence the bug report Its an easy thing to miss.
