titling will not play on time line

when I open an existing project and try to play, the video and music plays but the titling will not. Also, there are no icons inside the title icons on the time line. When I start a new project and place a title on the time line I can type a new title in the titling window but when finished there is not title playing on the time line. the new title icons contain the inside icons for editing. Have I turned of a switch by accident? Studio 12

Any chance you have the track with the titles muted, or the track with the video soloed?

thanks, I don't know how to mute any of the lines. And I don't think I did solo on the video because the music still plays, too.
I am heading out for the weekend so I will not be able to make any tests

sony studio 12 fixed itself. I went away for several days. Came back to check it out and there is nothing wrong. So I wonder if it had a boot up glitch the first time. I did not restart the program back then. Next time I will reboot before I go to the experts.
