Transfer MovieStudio Platinum 17 software to new computer

I'm allowed to run Movie Studio Platinum 17 on two computers. I installed Movie Studio Platinum 17 on my 2nd new computer from my Magix account. New computer is Dell XPS 8950. It runs Windows 11.

Few days Movie Studio Platinum 17 works good. I continued to work on project I started on old computer. Then I could not start project, and even could not start Movie Studio Platinum 17 from "Start". When I clicked on icon nothing happened. I tried to start as administrator-no success. I restarted computer. It did not help. After shutting down completely and waiting for few hours problem was fixed. I was able to start my project.

Today (in a few days) again I had the same problem even after restarting computer. Advise please. May I reinstall Movie Studio Platinum 17 on my new computer again from my Magix account?

Go to your Magix account https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/ and under My Products go to your VMS17 and deactivate the slot(s) you don't need so at least one is clear for you to install again.

It seems like I cannot use both computers at the same time. Does it mean that I can use only one of the computers at same time, but use both in turn? Like if I want to work on simple project on old computer and more complicated project on new more advance one.

Is it possible to close one project on old computer and start next day another project on new computer? What I need to do to make it possible?

Another question. I'm planning to upgrade software on new computer to MovieStudio Platinum 2022 (I know that it is total new program). If I do this, can I still use MovieStudio 17 on old computer to be able to work on old projects until I master new version of program on new computer (it might be that I need some time to master total new program)?

General advice which applies to VEGAS Movie Studio versions as well (linked here)

"9. How many computers can I use VEGAS Pro on?
You can use VEGAS Pro (14.0 and later) simultaneously on 2 devices. VEGAS Pro 365 can be used on 1 device at a time.

To deactivate a device, so you can activate a different one, visit your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate. This option can be used only once a month.

In VEGAS Pro 14.0 or later, you can also choose Deactivate the Software on this PC from the Help menu This option can be used as often as you wish. An internet connection is required."

Re your VMSP 17 and MAGIX MSP 2022, they are separate installations and you can continue using your VMSP 17 as before.
