Trim Event End Handle Not Working with Crossfades

I just updated to Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 13 and am having a problem editing the length of clips when they are overlapping to form a crossfade. If I select the first clip with the normal tool the "trim event end" handle is visible at the end of the crossfade but when I hover over it I only see the selection/move tool, it doesn't change to the trim tool and allow me to shorten or lengthen the crossfade. If I select the second clip the "trim event start" handle at the start of the crossfade works just fine. Turning off the automatic crossfades and trying this seems to allow the "trim event end" handle of the first clip to be manipulated but this does not alter the length of the crossfade, which is what I'm trying to do. Right now the only way I can lengthen a crossfade by making the first clip longer is to drag away the second clip entirely, lengthen the first one, and then overlap them again which, to say the least, is kind of annoying. Is anyone else having problems adjusting the length of the crossfade using the end handle on the first clip? I'm working entirely in the advanced edit mode.

See here, if it's of some help.

Thank you for the link! I was getting no useful results searching online and in the forum. That is definitely an effective work around. For future users on this thread; right-click on the track number and "expand track layers". This will cause the track to display the crossfaded clips on separate lines rather than overlapping one another. Takes up a lot of screen space for sure but is easier than dragging clips back and forth. This issue is most certainly a bug, hopefully it has been logged and is in the pipeline to be fixed!
