two sided trim? L or J cuts?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't know if my VMS16p can do two sides trim or multi trims at all.

I don't see that also in Vegas17 trial I have (for 3 last days)

How do you do L or J cuts? Any shortcut I missed?

- 30 years ago it was a standard in Avid media composer...

Thank you

Such a two side trimming aka sliding and L/J cuts are two different things.

To trim both sides of adjacant events symultaneously (to slide edit) hold Alt+Ctrl pressed while mouse dragging the edge(s). Or simply switch to the slide edit tool.

To combine slide editing with L/J cuts, use the slide edit tool while holding Shift pressed.

Have you done a Search "L + J" in online Help?

Thanks Marco, I knew I missed a shortcut.

Vkmast, no I didn't I searched the pdf and nothing there. As I sometimes use RTFM in my answers in forums, I started there.
