Thought these might be useful for others
- but now realise I've forgotten "how" I did them....
1) Add file numbers to Time-line clips
- this saves having to look for "Properties" when checking which clip is showing. ( Previously In "Review" you may have spotted a better version ),
-the downside is the Number Panels stick to the Left-hand upper start of each clip, so a Fade-in can be difficult to see.
2) Save HDD space- by loading proxies into yr Project Folder ( e.g Holiday 2014 / =last year) - - - - see below - - - , but having done it one I forgot about it ( Habits of a lifetime to make a full copy ), however, this means the Project Folders are duplicating a lot of the same HDD. - Of course if the Media was External, there may be a Case for making a full copy.
/
Just realised.... when you Copy from yr "Master Copy" use the "Create Shortcut" option, this means the Project Folder will contain quite small file-references to the Master Copy, saving your HDD, since Video uses large amounts of space.
That's it.
+If you already know, it doesn't apply.
