How many different machines have you had this installed on? Log into the Service Center>My Products>Movie Studio 16. Click on Show More Details. If there are two machines listed, deactivate one and see if you get the same results.
I have not had this happen to me, but that would be the first thing I would check.

I am guessing that may be the problem. I have it on an older computer. I thought since I bought the program I could use it on my computers. I will uninstall it on my older computer but not before checking out the info. Thanks
