1. can V22 author and burn DVD's ??

Yes and no. You can certainly burn DVDs in Vegas Pro 22 via the Burn option under the Tools menu, but there's no authoring features such as menus etc.

2. once purchased can you download more than once the installation etc files.

Yes - absolutely. The installer for Vegas Pro is always available from the product listing under My Products in your MAGIX My Account so there isn't a problem if you need to install Vegas Pro again on a new computer or after replacing an HDD following an HDD failure and/or replacement. Perpetual licences can be activated on two computers at the same time whereas 365 subscriptions can only be activated on one computer at a time. This means that you can have Vegas Pro installed on any number of computers at the same time but then it will be a case of swapping activation between computers as needed.

Hello All, update.....the new PC has arrived and have sorted out all the bits and bobs on it, network, internet etc etc, it seems to have settled down now. Have set up the tape deck to feed the Dvcam material into it via sceneanyliser prog and the firewire card.

Am now getting my editing head around Vegas 22 Pro, this could be a long job!

I will probably posting a good few more, how do you do, questions so please be gentle with me ! LOL

Am I right in thinking the majority of the users are US based, how many are uk based like myself ?

Seasons greeting to you all where ever you be, and I look forward to chatting in the new year.

James

According to a 6sense.com survey, the clear majority (~70%) of Community members do seem to be "US based", but besides NA, Europe, Asia and Australia/Oceania show in that survey. Also the current forum moderators come from those four regions. Only SA, AF and (not surprisingly) AN are not represented.

Season's Greetings to you as well and Happy New Year with VEGAS :)
