Update to the most recent version of VP 16. That is a very very old build.

If you contact customer support, it is the first thing they will tell you to do. You are on build 248. Five or six updates have been release for VEGAS Pro 16 since that build. If you log into your account on magix.com, and go to the "My products" page, you should see a link to get the latest version. Once you have that version installed, if you are still having problems, than we can start looking to help you. The new updates of VEGAS Pro 16 also have an auto-update feature which will prompt users with legitimate copies of VEGAS Pro to update whenever an update becomes available.

Maybe still a conflict with Ignite / HitFilm plugins? Btw, where have you "got vegas 16 pro and the ignite plugin" from?

Would you remember if you downloaded and installed your update strictly according to the instructions given by VEGASDerek? And which was the build number of the update?
