Updating studio 11 problem

truffleshuffle03 wrote on 4/11/2014, 1:41 PM
I'm having a bit of a issue with rendering but also crashing as well while I am editing it will just randomly crash in the middle of a edit I clicked send report and it said there was a update for it. I close it down and begin to update but it says that If I already have veges studio 11 installed uninstall it. So do I need to uninstall it to get the update?

You probably have the latest build of VMS 11 already installed (that's build 322 for the Platinum version). Check this by going in the program to Help > Sony on the web > Latest updates. Click and see what it says.

Pls check which build of VMS(P?) 11 you now have. You'll see it e.g. in online Help (F1) > About Vegas MS(P?).

I am going to as soon as I am able. I am on away from my home at the moment where my desktop is that has veges 11 installed. I am currently using my laptop but am going to check when I return to my house later on this evening

sorry it took me a bit longer to respond I was away longer than expected. I did get it to update going through the help menue. I would still like to know when I did the error report and it said I needed to update why the update would not work through the link it provided to update.

File locations can change on SCS's website so a link pointing to a file in a particular version of the program can become dead.

Downloading updates from the My Account > My Software link at the top of this page should always work.
