I'm trying to update Vegas 18 and I download the update and I try to run it and it says can not update while vegas is running.. I tried turning vegas off and Vegas is not running and it still says the same thing. how can I updated Vegas.
It says Perform Update Now. I click the yellow button and It downloads something 702 MB onto my computer. Which I don't know where it goes. Then I hit install when program is closed. Then I close the program. and then it says It can not update while vegas is running.
Install that file by hand after all is closed. Therefore you can also download from your Magix Account

Go to your taskbar and end all what you see of Vegas 18 and set your hardware to refresh faster.
Find Update.exe C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Vegas Pro\18.0
Be sure to check Task Manager first to see that there are no VEGAS processes running.
It's still not working.. I still can't figure out where it downloads to on the computer.. I downloaded the update every time i open it.. I close it using the task Bar CTRL ALT DEL and nothing happens.
