At the moment you can buy a Vegas Pro 14 license for 249 bucks, not matter which software you used before.

I was following the discussion that mentions the official emails patched distribution and read there, the same that Marco states here. So Until 16 of October that is the situation. I hope fellow Platinum and other Migrated CreativeSoftware video tools users receive this information on time to act.
