upgrade from Movie Studio Platinum 12 to Vegas Pro 14?

I use Movie Studio Platinum 12, which meets my needs very well.  I am tempted by the upgrade offer to Vegas Pro 14 at the Black Friday price, but wondering if this is an easy upgrade, and whether productions I have started editing in the old program will transfer easily or if I would have to start again.  Would be grateful for any advice.

If you're tempted, you probably should go ahead anyway. I believe Vegas Pro 14 should still  open earlier version MSP .vf projects. Some 3rd party FX may not work, but you can still have your MSP installed to work with it if needed.
