Upgrade from VMS 13 to 17

Glenn-Woods wrote on 2/22/2022, 4:43 AM

I had to have my hard drive replaced and originally purchased movie studio 13 so it was easy to install that version. I had already upgraded many times and the last upgrade was Vegas Movie Studio 17 - how do I upgrade to that level again? Movie Studio 13 has been reinstalled.

Thank you Vkmast - I have reloaded my movie studio but now when I am creating a video and try to add music from the same sources I have added before, the play back is a high pitched screech. I have tried rebooting my computer but nothing changed. I am afraid to play some of my old videos to see if the older pieces still retain the music.
What would you suggest to import music with the new install??

If your audio is mp3, please do a forum search using mp3 as a keyword - lots and lots of issues and suggestions. If its not mp3, please post a detailed MediaInfo report - https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-to-post-mediainfo-and-vegas-pro-file-properties--104561/ - of the audio media that you are using.
