Upgrading from movie studio 15 suite

So, I want to take advantage of an upgrade to Vegas pro 16 deal which ends two days from now, but I since I have the suite version of movie studio, im stuck on which version of Vegas pro I should upgrade to, I really don't want to be paying for addons I already got when I bought movie studio 15 suite.

Absolutely not needed to take the suite.
Vegas Pro Edit will be enough for all the normal tasks and only when you want to use DVDA and you have not already that program you will get it in de Vegas Pro version.

In other words, with the Vegas Pro 16 "classic" and Suite versions you'd get the same DVD Architect which you already have with VMS 15 Suite. And if you don't want to mess with duplicate FX and potential incompatibilities of add-ons, get VP Edit.

Alright, I decided to purchase the VP Edit upgrade, also what happens to my movie studio program licence after I had done the transaction? I noticed that it still works after installing the VP, I thought the installer would automatically replace my Ms software for the better one.

Many of us have several versions of VPro and Movie Studio installed. Only a new build/update replaces the previous build of a version. Your MS license is not affected.
