Nick's FAQ, point 9 says "You can use MAGIX VEGAS Pro (13.0 build 543 and later) simultaneously on 2 devices. To deactivate a device so you can activate a different one, go to your MAGIX account > My Products > Show More Details > Deactivate".

As MAGIX is taking care of business now, I guess this applies to your Sony as well. If that should not be the case, "The current Sony EULA stipulates the license is for one user,  it can be installed on 2 PCs for the same user, and cannot be used on 2 or more PCs at a time." Read here.
