Crap...guess I am the only one experiencing this. This will suck if I have to create a wav audio file just to drop in DVDA...then wait for it to convert it to ac3. Time to call tech support and get put on hold...

Make sure you turn off "Match Project Settings" under the render options.

The match project setting box is unchecked....

I know it has to be a simple thing...as this would be a major issue is more people were seeing this.

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Don't know if this will help, but it's happened to me: look at the checkboxes under Output Format (in your Render As window). If "Show Favorites only" is unchecked, all possible render options become visible.

MarkFoley wrote on 11/20/2012, 10:25 AM

I have them showing in SVP12.

I had saved modified versions in SVP11 and I used Vegasaur to quickly transfer all my settings from 11 to 12.

I think I've heard of some users not seeing all the templates they were expecting in 12 unless they had a modified saved version in 11.

Rather a botch but you could try saving a version in 11 and then transfering it to 12. That make make it show up. Worth a shot.

Although I don't have access to Vegas right now...I am a little optimistic about this. I never ran V11 as I had to many projects in work with V10 and I never upgrade with projects in work. Then with all the commotion of V11, never did any projects with it. However I opened it earlier yeasterday and the AC3 templates were there. Maybe all I do need to do is save/modify one as you suggest... can't hurt anyway....
MarkFoley wrote on 11/20/2012, 2:54 PM
that didn't work either...darn

Decided to dump V12 and reinstall (as I had done everthing else but stand on my head...now the AC3 encorders are available again...LOL
