Vegas 15 often loses focus when I click inside the interface

Hi there,

Am I the only one having this problem:

Often when I'm working in Vegas and I click something inside the interface, Vegas loses focus and goes to the background and I am in whatever other program was running in the background and I have to manually ALT-TAB back to vegas all the time...

Sorry, Marcel, I don't recognize this behaviour? New to me.

Haven't encountered this either, and although I hate forum comments that say "you'll have to give us more information", but maybe this time....(versions, Windows and Vegas, what else is running, hardware). One option could be to make Vegas the "always on top" app (various ways to do this, Google).

Very few times had this issue...

Perhaps in Options>Preferences> uncheck these can help?

I too have this issue. Usually it happens if I am clicking in the window that has the project media | explorer | etc. in it. It has also happened while having Vegas Color Corrector fx open and I was clicking something to make an adjustment.

Thank you all for your help!

Gonna try the suggestions and strange that some people also have this problem and some don't...

My system is a windows 10 home edition with Vegas 15 build 216.

I have never noticed this problem in any other program as far as I can remember, so it must have something to do with Vegas. For me it happens a lot when I am working with pieces of text for subtitles, for example when I edit some text and then click on the cross to close that text window, I get launched out of Vegas into another program that I have opened at that moment.

Install also the latest build 261

You mean it doesn't ask me to update when a newer version is available?

I'm pretty sure that version 14 always updated automaticaly on startup whenever a new version came out?

I didn't even know there was a newer build, thanks!

Yes, seems checking "Use Newsfeed" and Help>Check for News... do not currently necessarily inform us of the updates. You need to keep an eye on News > Important posts.
