What is your version of Windows 11 and when was the latest update for that?

Error 14 occurs when a serial for a different product is entered.  For instance if you enter the Sound Forge serial to activate VEGAS you will receive error 14.

@walter-i. im talking about vegas 19 new update.. the comments in the post you mentioned are talking about vegas 20

@j-v windows 11 pro version 22H2 .. all is updated .. latest update yesterday
there is a problem with the new update from magix, i cant understand, it says for vegas 19 then when trying to install the update it asks to remove the program from device

Thank you, I saw the same on my desktop yesterday, immediatly after that latest Windows 11 update had been executed. Because I did not need any update or upgrade of VP19 and VP20 I ignore it further.
I think it is caused by the 365 subscription number in combination with that new Windows Update

@j-v i tried again now and i took screenshots for everything, look what happens and tell me plz if you can figure out anything

@j-v the update is for vegas pro 20 but when i start vegas19 it says new update for vegas 19 .. its confusing

My guess is that you're starting VEGAS Pro 19 and it's activated with at Vegas 365 serial number. So it's telling you there's a "Major Update" which is VEGAS Pro 20. You've previously downloaded and installed VEGAS Pro 20. Now you're downloading it again and running the installer again which is now giving you the option to remove VEGAS Pro 20 because it's already installed.

What if you just run VEGAS Pro 20 instead of VEGAS Pro 19? It's more stable and has more options anyway. If you're using a 365 serial number, you're able to use VEGAS Pro 20 for no additional cost because that's what you're currently paying for.

@jetdv i download vegas 20 like 3 months ago but it asked for a new serial number and it didnt accept the one that i bought for vegas 19 365 subscribtion , so i deleted it and im using the 19

If you have a 365 number, VEGAS Pro 20 is the "current" version... So VEGAS Pro 19 will continue to ask you to update every time you open it and it will continue to download VEGAS Pro 20. I would not expect any more updates to 19.

@jetdv so vegas 20 should be for free.. i have the vegas post serial number i bought 1 year subscribtion
but i tried to put the same serial number for 20 and it didnt work.. do you have any clue? should i keep 19 and install the 20 again or uninstall 19 completely and install only 20 and use the same serial for it? i got confused

Contact Magix support! Let them help you figure it out. This is a peer-to-peer forum. We're all users, just like you so we can't help you out with serial number issues. But the purpose behind "365" is that you're always current - even if the version changes.

I had exactly the same as you see and I also deleted Vegas 20 and It installed again Vegas 20 build 214.
I thought after I did all it asked for that the problem was gone, but not after reboot now everytime I try to start VPro 19 the same message pops-up. By choosing later, I can normal work with VPro 19 and at the same time with Vpro 20

@j-v i think we should get in contact with magix support as jetdv said.. i cant find any solution for the problem, and i cant run vegas 20 also, although i bough the 1 year subscribtion for post 365 .. he is saying that we are supposed to get any vegas version within the subscribtion
