@Julie-Robitaille does that also happen if you try to use the emergency build 403?

i downloaded the emergency build - still doesn't open without disconnecting wifi.

Try uninstalling the update and reinstall with wifi/internet connected. V20-403 does work fine with internet and wifi connected.

(Intel 3rd gen i5@4.1GHz, 32GB RAM, SSD, 1080Ti GPU, Windows 10) Not now used with Vegas.

13th gen i913900K - water cooled, 96GB RAM, 4TB M2 drive, 4TB games SSD, 2TB video SSD, GPU RTX 4080 Super, Windows 11 pro

Hello, I am having the same problem here. It won't start! I have to delete the software and install it again?

No, you have to download and install the update. No need to uninstall or "delete".

Why isn't the company here and making this work? This is quite frustrating when you pay for a software that doesn't work. Thank you for the help and guidance.

They did! There's a new release for both 19 and 20 that fix the issue. All you have to do is download the newest build and install. Versions 18 and older did not have the issue.

@Vanessa-Zanardi
I think it is better to start your own post at this forum.

Another quick solution, but not a fix is to disconnect your internet feed and then open Vegas- once Vegas is up and running reconnect to the internet. I have done this before to keep rolling.
