Hopefully someone can help me here.

Hi Reece & welcome to teh forum. Since no one else replied, I thought I'd respond.

There are a multitude of possible reasons and you should start by posting your system profile on your profile, so our colleagues here have an idea of your system performance. Vegas 11 is resource intensive and it will struggle on lower spec systems. I am no expert on (well anything much) particularly interpreting crash reports from Vegas. You might start by searching this Vegas forum, as "Vegas crash" is a hughely popular thread topic, so there's plenty to read. There have been many things suggested, some of which appear to have worked very well for some people, not for others. Sorry can't help more.

Hi Duncun,

Thanks for your response. I listed bit of the system specs in message, and I loaded most of the info into my profile.

After a bit of searching I've run Vegas in compatiablity mode with Windows 7 and it seems to be running a lot better now, fingers crossed it will stay that way.

Cheers
Reece

Good. There's also this very recent article (at last) in the SCS Knowledgebase, which may help troubleshooting in some crash cases.
