Please check that the copy of the software you have purchased has a proper license from MAGIX.

I have purchased license in 2012 (from Sony) and upgraded (from MAGIX) in 2018 to Vegas 15.00. I am not able to run Vegas. How to check it?

Seems you have a proper license. This is the standard Support article. You may need to contact Support. Try resetting first though. Be sure to follow closely the instructions which apply to all (Magix) Vegas versions.
