My m2ts files (1920x1080, 50p progressive) show, play and edit well in my VMSPl 12-17, but not in VMSHD 10. So I think upgrade to the latest version Platinum is the best you can do if your computerspecs meet the specs for this program.
To upgrade you can use the registration number of your version 11

You could try to download the last update (build 322 64-bit) of VMS P 11 from MAGIX Download Center or your MAGIX Account > My products (if you still have an earlier build) to see if it helps. I don't have trouble with my Sony m2ts files in v11.
