Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0

I am attempting to download Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11.0 onto my new Windows PC but just as the green bar comes to the end of its download, I get a message saying "Download was corrupted". I had this message initially when I tried it from the disc and am also having it after registering the product on the Vegas website and attempting to download from the installer pre-loader.

My laptop died a few weeks ago, hence why I'm trying to get it downloaded onto my new PC.

Has anyone got any ideas of what else I can do?

Have you tried to download your software by entering your serial number at the MAGIX Download Center?

Maybe note also this: "Older versions of Vegas Pro [and Movie Studio] than 14.0 are licensed under a system (as previously used by Sony) which permits use on multiple computers by one user; after an unspecified number of installations on different or updated PCs you may need to contact support to reset your "installation count"."
