Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 download

Hi everybody!

Several years ago I purchased a licensed copy of Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 and used it quite happily until my computer crashed, wiping out my hard drive along with the downloaded setup file. I thought I had it on my backup but, alas, it turned out that I didn't. I now have a new PC and have been desperately trying to find a legitimate download link, but so far I've either found links for the wrong version (non-Platinum, which doesn't accept my license key) or bogus files infected with malware.

I have sent a message to Vegas customer support asking them to send me a download link for version 11 but have not heard anything back. So I've decided to turn to the community for help.

Does anyone happen to have the setup file or the install DVD that you could share with me?

Thank you for the tip! Now, how do I know which file is the right installer for my original version Movie Studio HD Platinum 11? For example, what's the difference between these?

moviestudiohd11.0.xx.exe

moviestudiope11.0.xx.exe

moviestudiope11.exe

The last update/build of Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 11 was moviestudiope11.0.322.exe. V.11 was still 32-bit only. The first one in your list is the basic version, not Platinum. The third one is the initial release/build of Platinum.

If you need DVD Architect Studio 5, scroll further up in the "current" list. Build 186 is the last one.

You're completely wrong, when I follow your link and login with a lot of Vegas software I bought at sonycreative sofware I see this


Nothing anymore at this time, the link @vkmast did provide is the right one since Magix bought SonyCreative Software, because Sony would not hold it any longer.

Currently, you should try points 3 and/or 4 from here https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-where-can-i-download-vegas-pro-and-other-vegas-software--104782/ . Re point 6 there (Legacy versions) the link in Archive of (large index of old versions up to VP11) seems still to work. And if you log in to your old SCS/Sony account and go to My Software, you should be able to see your serial numbers. The "Download" links there take you to the Magix Download Center.

The links in my earlier comments were valid at the time of writing them.
