I left it "hung" overnight and when I checked in the morning it was up. Is that going to happen every time?

Only time will tell. Maybe Windows was doing something in the background?

Nah, it's not windows. It's Vegas, it's doing something. It took about FIVE minutes to get past that message.

I *think* it has to do with validating the activation. This computer isn't showing up on my licensing web page. How do I turn it on? If I try to deactivate it, it gives me an error code -65 and says it might already be deactivated. If so, why is it letting me run the program?

How do I contact Vegas support? I thought this was it, but I guess not.

I uninstalled and reinstalled and I have the same problem. 😩

Did you do a full reset as suggested by jetdv? Uninstalling/reinstalling doesn't clear out any cache corruption.

I did the shift click, but not check the box. I just tried it and it's still not starting quickly. It still takes minutes to come up. It's something else I guess.

Did a full reset, no luck. I installed a trial version of 21 and it comes up just fine. This is super annoying. No help from Magix support because the version is too old.
