Vegas Pro 15 trial period expired before its due date

Hello.

I downloaded Vegas Pro 15 yesterday and it ran perfectly. But when I closed it and opened it again it was showing 28 days left. And today when I opened it is saying that the trial has expired. I have used Vegas 14 before and it didn't have this problem. What should I do to solve this?

Curious... where did you download a trial version of Vegas Pro 15? That's 4 years old....the current trial version is for Vegas Pro 19....

I haven't read many good things about Vegas Pro 19 so I was reluctant to download it and instead downloaded an older version from another site.

And the other site isn't official..... so you pirated it? Nice way of supporting the software where $$$ helps to make it better.

If I wanted to pirate it then I wouldn't have used a trial version. I would have just downloaded the full version from some site. I need a video editor for a short time so it doesn't make sense for me to buy the full version.

...and the trial version is only good for 2 minutes of rendering....

I haven't read anything like that anywhere. But if that's the case then I might have to purchase it or look for some other software.

That is the case. Another thing is that MAGIX themselves do not sell old versions.

@Pikachu You haven't told us from where you were able to download a trial version of the old version. Even trial versions need an activation key to unlock it. Was this provided to you with the trial version?

Here's a good thing. VP 19 is more stable than 15 with vastly improved playback for AVC and HEVC and support for more varieties of video formats. I wouldn't waste time with the old version unless your hardware is too old to support 19.
