First, good to see one of the real old hands on the forum is still around. Do you mean that you cannot drag left/right on the border now? If so, I cannot replicate that, the two-headed arrow still appears. The narrow vertical bar on the right in the Track list area went away with v.15 though.

I'm also not seeing any vertical line there in VP16 build 361 or VP15 build 416, on either my desktop or laptop. Not sure if it's by design or a bug. The invisible line there is draggable left or right.

As all the vertical and horizontal bars between the sections went away as of v.15, I'd be inclined to think it was by design. It has made finding the splitter harder. You can (kind of) recognize the line though in other borders, between TH and TL only by the thin opening to the right of Time Display block.

Certainly not by design as the absence is of no use, and more of a distraction. It did actually come back for one release of VP16 after I pointed it out the first time that it vanished, but now has gone again. As the invisible line is 'draggable' is must be meant to be there..

Shots of the "lines" in VP16b361 (media added on TL) and VMSP16b109. Dark GUIs both.

OK - I use the 'White' theme (actually very light grey). The dotted line in that position in your (vkmast) pix is just a time-cursor marker, as opposed to UI section separator - click the timetime cursor somewhere else - any colour scheme, and it disappears. Hover over that area and you do get the handle to pull the track-header section in or out.

Here's a pic of what I would like/expect , a two-tone 'Light' scheme. Very easy on the eye as not heavily contrasty like the darker ones are. This was from VP13 vintage.

Actually I get these (the vertical dotted line still shown as below, also in my VMSP16 pic above, same with audio track only), but as this discussion shows, the line is too narrow and not easily recognizable.

I concur, the track header/timeline divider line should be a little more prominent.

+11 . Geoff and I had an on-line acquaintance as far back as the Sonic Foundry days with Sound Forge 4 or 5 and early releases of Vegas.

What's wrong with this picture?

Maybe I should throw Vegas 4 and 8 in there?

Not to mention Vegas 3 and Vegas Audio 3 !
