I don't know how the promotions are created but I assume Humble Bundle cannot sell these apps at these prices without permission from the creators. So my assumption would be that Magix and Hitfilm packaged the software for them, so I respectully disagree and fill it is Magix's responsibility to assure compatibility. But since neither of us know, our opinions are just that, opinions.(many of these promotions include software that is not related at all, other than a similar category)
@vkmast My feeling is that this might be an older version that is not compatible with 16, but maybe an earlier version of Vegas (clue is they mention Windows 8)
I wanted to buy because it contain Ignite plugins, but since someone said it only work on VP16 only (Even worse it doesnt even come out in VP16 OFX, and FXHome/Magix pushing people around that seek for help).
If you dig deep on the Magix site you can discover the Ignite Enhance Ultra plugin was bundled by Magix with Vegas Movie Studio. My 5 cents is that the plugin is locked to another version of Movie Studio (17?) so it wil not work with Vegas Pro 16 or Movie Studio 16 from the Humble Bundle. Guess Magix and FXHOME have to negotiate here :P and that's why FXHOME redirects us to Magix. (see https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/vegas-pro-16-humble-bundle-30--128707/ also)

@Dexcon Interesting. I guess we will never know for sure. It is still a good deal for those of us behind the times in versions. I am pretty impressed that 16 works with my old hardware. i have not installed Movie Studio but I did install Re-speeder and it is interesting. I haven't done much with it yet.

They dont double check when they making this bundle?
Sadly...yes. We have requested over and over again that any bundle be verified for combability, but the fact that even the engineering team was surprised by the Humble Bundle sale in the first place should give a clue that compatibility was not verified.
We are in discussions with FXhome on a resolution.

Thanks for your input VEGASDerek. The Ignite thing is not a deal breaker by any means. But I am sure we all appreciate the efforts of Magix to find a resolution.
