[VEGAS Pro 16 WON'T OPEN] Receiving Problem Report On Start Up

The programme was working before I went to bed and soon as I wake up sony vegas doesn't open but give me a report problem. I have everything up to date when I went into manage device.

A solution would mean a lot, been trying online for results but none have worked so far, including disabling a graphics card, Sony vegas did manage to open but the rendering made audio and video delayed significantly which made it impossible to edit. Any help would mean a lot.

Are you on the last version of Vegas Pro 16? (if not, update to it)

The error suggests it's an issue with Intel Graphics Driver (igd).
 C:\WINDOWS\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\igdlh64.inf_amd64_bdd37d808cfdf045\igdrcl64.dll

What graphics card or cards (you mentioned disabling one) does your system have? Have their drivers been updated recently?

If you have AMD, update to the latest Enterprise driver.
For Intel, try the latest driver from Intel directly or the last one your computer OEM released (as it should hopefully be stable).

If Vegas still doesn't start, hold down control & shift when you start it to reset the settings and clear the cache. That may help.

Yes I am on the latest version. (I even deleted it and re-downloaded completly)

Graphics Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 and NVIDIA Geforce GTX 980 Ti.

I just downloaded intels latest driver

I cleared cache.

 

I downloaded a trial to vegas pro 18 and now my vegas pro 16 opens fine but i'm now given another issue. the audio and video is delayed, so much problems are erupting and i dont know anymore.

Okay, it seems to be working now, when I redownloaded I don't think I actually re-downloaded it but just removed it and did the latest build and works now!

Glad you can get it to work again. Good luck with your editing.

For your NVIDIA card, try their latest Studio Driver. It really helped me with stability.
