Vegas Pro 17 does not import to time line AVCHD Format (mts, m2ts)

Carlos-Alberto wrote on 2/22/2020, 5:33 AM

When dragging the file in the time line, a symbol of forbidden is shown and nothing happens.

When trying to preview the file from the "Explorer" Window it presents the error bellow.

VEGAS Pro 17.0
Version 17.0 (Build 421)
Exception 0xE0434352 (Unknown Type) IP:0x000007FEFCFDB87D
In Module 'KERNELBASE.dll' at Address 0x000007FEFCFD0000 + 0x000000000000B87D
Thread: GUI ID=0x1810 Stack=

I know the software is developed to windows 10 and I am using windows 7. But I do not believe the problem reported is due to it.

Please. Do you know how to fix it?

Thanks for you attention.

Exception 0xE0434352

A Google search of the above exception has lots of results, a common cause being .NET framework. Make sure your .NET framework is up-to-date and not corrupted. Of course as VP17 is being further developed, it may be getting further away from compatibility with pre-W10 OS.

Imho, this actually is due to the non-supported Windows 7 OS.

A similar issue with the couple of the latest VMS 16 P builds. Did the OP have this issue in VPro 17 build 353?
