Vegas Pro 17 program will not open

Hi there. I have just installed Sony Vegas Pro 17 that came part of my Vegas 365 download. After installation and reboot, the program will not open. It keeps telling me it has stopped and then it shuts down. What do I do??

Post the crash detail box with info selected so we can see what module is the defaulting module.

You have Boris FX plug-ins installed it is this that is stopping VP17 from starting. Likely installed with previous version of Vegas 16/15/14

You should be able to uninstall Boris Effects from windows Apps setting.

BorisFX plug-ins were offered as extras with some versions of Vegas.

Note if they were included as a free addition to another Vegas version they may not work with VP17 if this is the case you may have to totally uninstall any previous Vegas version.
