Yes, but in the New Project window there isn't a button to start and I can't scroll down

@Rosalina, how about a screenshot?

Are you talking about this screen? Just pick your options and click on OK.

No ok or cancel at all, at least last time I used it

@Rosalina Is the lower part of the window cut off or out of viewable range at the desktop?

And a related thread maybe here. Please read through.

Btw, what is your "Locale" (system region)?

jetdv wrote on 4/29/2024, 7:58 AM

@Rosalina you still didn't provide us a screenshot of what you are seeing. If it's cut off the bottom of the screen, you many need to move to a slightly higher screen resolution. At a minimum I'd be on 1024x768. What is your current screen resolution? Just right-click a blank area of the desktop and choose "Display settings".

Can't scroll down or anything...

Didn't help at ALL

Automatically Hide The Taskbar works but it's not something I'm used to (I'm autistic) and I don't like it. It was showing before.

@Rosalina

@jetdv wants to see the screen resolution of your Windows system.

Note: Windows has had a Clipboard (accessible by hitting the Print-Screen key) and a Paint program for decades. Both are useful for screen captures.

Try in Display Settings and set the Scale and Layout to 100% (usually by default in laptops, they are set to 125%)

Or just bump the Windows screen resolution to the next higher setting so you can see everything...

Rosalina wrote on 5/11/2024, 7:09 PM

I tried (with 140) and I do NOT like it that big.

I think I will stick to hiding the taskbar each time, but I want it to be permanetly fixed.

To "permanently" fix it, you need to run your screen at a higher resolution. For that window to not completely show, you must be running at a really low screen resolution (but you still haven't shown us any screenshots showing what resolution you are running.)

And set said to change it to 100%, not 140%... You need things SMALLER, not BIGGER.

john_dennis showed you how to do that above by right-clicking a blank area of the desktop and choosing "Display Settings". What is your Display Resolution (which he highlighted in red)? Pick the next larger option and try that!

@Rosalina Hi, to take a screen capture press the Windows key + Ctrl + S all at the same time.

The screen will go dark & these buttons will appear at the top of the screen, choose Window snip.

Click on the screen & a picture of your screen will be captured, it will appear in Notifications bottom right of the screen where you can click on it to save it. then you can upload it on here. 👍
