Updated Vegas Pro 19 just now hoping maybe this was one of the fixes, but it's not. I've done every single KERNELBASE.dll fix that the forum has suggested, i'm really hoping there's somebody out there who has had this error and fixed it another way yet described.

It would also be helpful if you download mediainfo, install it, right click on your media (in windows explorer), select "mediainfo", and paste the report it generates here. You might have to change the view in mediainfo to show all the info, change it to html or text.

You showed the customized rendertemplate you probably used , so I was thinking it is a renderproblem.
If not, tell us what you are doing when this unmanaged exception is coming.
For rendering for YT my rendertemplate would be the normal Magix AVC HD with QSV and not a customized one.

For rendering for YT my rendertemplate would be the normal Magix AVC HD with QSV and not a customized one.

That would be also my suggestion. Try first the render templates that show up with an equal (=) sign.

- I asked you : Can you show us a screenshot of the result of your Help/Check for Driver Updates? You did not, but we need it to see of you can render with the QSV option.
- You are using a wrong projectsetting for the type of files you use. Let the program choose for your project the right type by choosing such a file for that task.
Look this video I just made for you

- When you use the right project you have to choose a rendertemplate that suites your settings, look at this video how to choose and customize the rendersettings

Sorry, i'm quite new to this, what is QSV option and what help/check for driver updates? I've not been taking screenshots as i worked through previous methods that were suggested in other threads.

YT is not always your best friend. It is true when your sourcefiles were also HD, but they are NOT, they are almost the smallest SD files.
But you are your own boss, so do what you think what you must do, but come than not here for help.
Your installed driverversion for the Intel 530 GPU is not the latest. Better is to download the best and latest DHC driver from this site :https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/products/88345/graphics/intel-hd-graphics-family/intel-hd-graphics-530.html#support-product-specification

Ahh i see. Sorry, as i say, i am new at this. I ripped these particular files from the big blue DVCAM tapes myself, from when it was filmed back in 2008. I don't mean to cause any offence of course.

Strangely enough - i just got recommended a driver update for the GPU by the support assistant. Maybe the system was prompted by Vegas Pro. I updated using that and it now shows this:

I've edited the preview down to the size recommended by Vegas Pro, and i'm installing the newest drivers from the link you gave me. Thank you :). I will try the render again once both are complete.

Ahh i see. Sorry, as i say, i am new at this.

For newbies it's important not to mess with project and render settings. Vegas advices which project settings are optimal when first video clip is dragged to the timeline. If the video has standard video resolutions/framerate, aspect ratio etc, Vegas has also according standard rendertemplates, recognized by the equal sign (=).

I've about given up at this point. I either get a strange error when batch rendering (as mentioned in another post), or i get this error when trying to render my full show (without then regions).

About ready to request a refund on my year sub and head to Adobe.
