Vegas Pro Explorer window 'broken', displays no files or folders

Bjorn-Lynne wrote on 7/29/2021, 8:33 AM

The "Explorer" window within Vegas Pro 17 seems 'broken'. It displays no files and no way to browse/navigate to any folder. I've tried to change the view mode, refresh, change to 'details', 'list' etc., nothing seems to help. I can't see any files or folders in the Explorer view. Any tip here?

I'm uploading a screenshot.

Pull the left border back with the mouse or reset the program to its defaults.

@Bjorn-Lynne

The button at the top right corner of the explorer window, click on that which should open a menu. Select "Tree" from that and you should be able to navigate again.

Thank you, yes, this did the trick. I selected "Tree", then I saw that a tiny frame opened on the left-hand side, and I was then able to drag that towards the right, and now I can navigate again. Thank you.

Solution: I had deleted files in: C:\Users\green\AppData\Roaming\VEGAS Pro to make space on the computer. This caused files to not show up. I uninstalled AND deleted all files related to Vegas Pro. Files are back in the explorer tab.
