This deal should really be mentioned in the Price Watch thread. Amazing deal on an upgrade to VP suite. Change the 'us' in the link to whatever your country is-
As these are usually "targeted" personal offers that may not be available to all ("You received this message because you subscribed to receive promotional information from MAGIX at [your] email address"), I've some time ago added to the VEGAS Price Watch thread updates something like the following note: "NB: Check also your emails for possible special offers that may not be available at the website".
This is because if the post is left open, the thread has often turned into "a.prolonged discussion about the rights and wrongs" of the pricing and offers despite the warning in Nick's original post. I myself seldom if ever see those VEGAS special offers, but you can of course create a post about these offers and discuss them there. I am not aware how many users actually regularly read the "Price Watch" thread anyway.
Not sure myself. I didn't get an email about it, although signed up for such things, just saw the other post here with the link above. That link allows you to buy in $ (49.99), and I just changed the us to GB to get the same offer in £ and went ahead and got it!
I purchased Vegas 22 Pro Suite 365 in September, so my subscription will end next September. But for $49.99 I purchased the above special. That way next September if I don't want to upgrade to Version 23, I will have a working copy of 22. I did receive all of my serial numbers via email.
Also to justify to myself for the purchase, my wife and I went to lunch today with drinks cost us $40.00 (US). Its dinner time now and I am hungry again. So for $10 more than lunch, I now have something that will last me for years. Thanks
@Wiew I am from our kingdom as well, and it used to be easier to buy software (not only Vegas) cheaper in the US, with less taxes and cheaper dollar versus the Euro, but they check on your IP address to conform to tax regulation more strictly than in the past. If Belgium (.be) sites are not present, check for .gb or .nl as url.
As the UK is now outside Europe due to Brexit, taxes maybe different and the pound could have lost some exchange rate versus the Euro.
If a check on your IP or ISP server force Belgium as a country, you could try to use a VPN to set Belgium to the UK for example (which is another kingdom by the way!)
