My first impression as well. But maybe the OP is actually suggesting to use that MAGIX program. Seems he refers to "Vegas Stabilization" and "using it" results in getting "all kind off color spots".

My understanding is that "Vegas Video Stabilization" is included as a Video FX in some Magix products.

Around 2022, Magix introduced “Vegas Stabilization” in its Video Deluxe and ProX programs, which according to advertising was supposed to be an original Vegas component.
However, the user intervention is practically non-existent, there is only the option “Analyze footage” and no further possibilities for adjustment. There have often been complaints in the VDL forums that hardly anything has changed in the stabilized output. The general advice was to stick with Mercalli.

I went to the Magix site to report the problem. There I selected that I had a problem with the stabilization and I was directed to this forum.

Vegas Video Stabilization has been in Magix products since 2019 , but a post from that yr -

Just installed, and want to go back to prevous version. I was annoyed when they rearranged the Video Effects selection buttons, now have to relearn where the ones I use most are.

But more important, as far as I can see, they removed the Magix Image Stabilizer, which has worked very good for my videos. I tried the Vegas Stabilizer.... it does NOTHING. No controls, just "Analyze Motion Data." No difference at all.

I read this post as @VEGASDerek did & that it was Magix Deluxe/Movie Studio.

---------

This is what you get with Movie Studio 2025, I don't remember what controls Magix V Stabilization previously had since I started using VP in about 2019 & drifted quickly away from using Magix Movie but looking at that post I quoted nothing has changed.. ..

------------

Jus to add for the sake of sharing info - Magix Video Pro X does have some extra controls but nothing like VP's options & besides I always thought Deluxe was the same as Movie Studio 🤷‍♂️

@Reyfox Jo.Jo probably didn't post on the forum but lodged a support ticket?
