I want to copy and edit some very old video clips which began life as a cine film and were then transferred to a DVD. However Vegas won't allow me to drag the video from the disc to the Vegas movie track - there is a message saying that 'none of the files dropped into Vegas Platinum could be opened.' The file type of the DVD is listed under 'Properties' as UDF. (I am not technically knowledgeable and don't know what this means).

Is there any way I can achieve this?
