Velocity Curves in Movie Studio?

I've used older versions of Vegas Pro and have recently moved to Vegas Movie Studio 17 Platinum. One feature I can't find is adding a velocity curve. I want a clip to start off at x1 speed then speed up to say x5. In Vegas Pro I've achieved this by adding a velocity curve to the clip and adjusting the velocity appropriately. The best I can find in Vegas Movie Studio is to adjust the velocity of the whole clip. This is pretty basic and jarring. I want to slowly ramp up the velocity within the clip.

As you've found out VEGAS Pro versions do have more features than VMS Platinum or VMS which is even more "basic".

Thanks, so I take it this feature is not available in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum? This is unfortunate, I'm by no means an advanced user. I just edit, use the odd effect like Chroma keying and the odd colour correction. This is why I decided to go with a more 'basic' version. I certainly wouldn't have classed velocity curves as an advanced feature...

Your case proves again that "Try before you buy" (An important post/sticky on the Movie Studio section of this forum.)
