Video Event FX preview not realtime

I use Vegas Pro 13.0, and when I use plugins to move around the bars for different settings like "Gaussian Blur" or whatever, the preview is never updated until I exit out of the Video Event FX tab. This isn't a problem with animating, I am aware that there's a button that allows for real time animation but that does not work. The preview simply won't preview real time like it used to. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Check the state of the Split Screen Preview Button.

My Split Screen Preview Button is not selected, but it still does plays like how it is in Cornico's clip.
