After trying the SW for a couple of days and now buying it, on all projects I have a crash with cause on Kernelbase.dll when trying to make a movie (when clicking on advanced options). I tried reinstalling the VMS or disabling GPU rendering selections but without any improvement. What is the best solution for me ?

Several similar issues reported recently. The only comment with some suggestions is here. You may need to Ask Support. Pls report back here if Tech Support is able to solve it.

What are the required steps to make a support ticket. When I go on your link, I can select the SW (VMS), but then I only can search in a database. I don't see a button to make a new support ticket ?

See e.g. here and the next couple of comments. When/if you get to this page, choose the appropriate option. You'll be able to eventually Submit.

From Magix support I got the following suggestion and that seems to work :

In Vegas or Movie Studio, this error occurs when Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 (3.5.1) is either turned off or not installed properly on the system.

To resolve this issue, go to Control Panel -> Programs (Programs and Features) -> Turn Windows features on or off and scroll down the list to find Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1.

Turn on this feature by clicking the checkbox so it is filled. After allowing Windows to work through applying this feature, restart your system.
