I went to work on a project yesterday, and I noticed the Project media field was empty with a somewhat pink background. The project's videos (from a previous project I had worked on) were able to be seen below in the editing field, but the project media itself was just blank. I attempted to put new media in, and it promptly filled into the editing area, but still no project media... the moment I tried moving anything in the editing field the entire software was frozen (including the top bar to close the software).

I have tried closing and re-opening the software. I have tried rebooting my computer, and I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. Nothing seems to help. What is going on? I have used Vegas for nearly 13 years and have never had anything like this happen before on my home computer. I've only had this software on my laptop for apx 2 months, and now this.

What is going on? and how can it be fixed?

I have Vegas Movie Studio 16.0 Platinum running on Windows 10
