VMS16P not better on W10

Recently I installed VMS16P on W10 different SSD than my W7 SSD.

I boot to whatever I set in the BIOS, so it's the same hardware i5-6400, 8G ram & a 2G GTX1050

On W10 I updated VMS to 175 and on W7 I stayed on 142.

On W10 latest Nvidia studio 441.66 driver, on W7 much older general driver

First I will say that VMS is halting, even after fresh start, soon I select the project media tab (still empty). It will come back to it's senses after few seconds. I don't use it that often but I never had that in W7

Secondly, transition playback is slow (even just crossfade) on W10, and I use only HD mts files. Never had an issue like that on W7.

Thirdly, The layout is duller in W10 than on W7. The windows look flat, . not with frame edge like in W7 like this

Thank you,

Nvidia Studio Driver 442.92 not compatible with your system?

I didn't try, but I'm sure this isn't the issue. From my experience over the years, GPU drivers weren't the culprits of my NLE's. updates solved nothing, hence in W7 I kept using older one just fine. (I'm on W10 now so I don't see W7 settings, I think it is 388)

- On W7 it's 388.13 from Oct2017.

- I just loaded the vf I edited in W10 and it runs smooth as silk on W7.

Well, I just removed studio 441 and installed NV studio 431.86 which was the current driver when build175 was out. On few tests I did, VMS16P/175 runs better and even 3D transitions are quick and snappy.
