What I DO like about Movie Studio 13

Pressing control to dock. Stops various pop-up windows like effects etc from docking accidentally when you move them.

Buttons for Pan & Crop and Effects. Can turn off the ones which are overlaid on the clips then they don't get clicked on accidentally while selecting clips etc.

Buttons for Trim Start & Trim End.

Larger clearer buttons and icons.

... and all it's inherited from Studio 12.

Just give me back Customise Buttons PLEASE...!

I saw that it was automatic for 4K, didn't know it applied to 'regular' HD manually. It's a bit late now, at one time I would have welcomed it but now have enough hardware power for HD. Clearly it's going to be essential for 4K for now at least. There always was the clunky 'replace video' method. So yes a good thing.

V13 seems to be a little faster. All depends on how you have it configured with GPU Acceleration.

Is there any way to find out what GPU's actually work for GPU encoding? I'm new to video editing, Movie Studio 12 being my first foray into a few months ago. I forget what I read somewhere but I think some video cards don't work even though they meet the broad requirements. I have a GeForce 780 Ti, which I am amazed does not get utilized in MS12. I hope that's changed in MS13.
