What I DON'T like about Movie Studio 13

>>>Is anybody out there working with a mouse?<<<
Can't speak for others, but I'm still working with a mouse in v 13. The workflow is a bit different from my previous MSPs (10 to 12), but I get things done. I am not overly keen on some of the changes either, but I can live with them.
That said, I agree that a separate Touch Screen version might have been created for the touch screen computer users as suggested in a very good review of MSP/MSS 13 here.

I do not have a touch screen and do not intend to get one for editing in the near future.

I use a WatCom tablet and it works just fine.

I use a mouse AND keyboard shortcuts all the time. All MS13 lacks is the ability to customise the toolbar like you could in 12. Then both mouse and touch users would be happy i think. At the moment it is biased too far in favour of the touch screen user.
They have already built in the switching with Simple and Advanced - there should have been third option for Touch too. Then the advanced mode can be genuinely that with more buttons. Its not rocket science.

I would have to agree, I wish we could customize the toolbar. Also, the configure button is a pain. I wish I could turn on Auto ripple with one click. The buttons are all to big, and I feel like there is just a lot of wasted space on the interface.

Maybe someone can do a poll on who edits videos with their fingers.

Another agreement here. Definitely don't like the upgraded UI - not configurable, and too many clicks to do what previously could be done in fewer clicks.

Going through a little 'upgrader's remorse' now. This should have been labeled the upgrade for touch users, I guess. I know I won't be using it as much as I thought I would...
