Still being a relative newbie at the software sometimes things just happen, like I pressed a wrong button or shortcut somewhere and pow something weird happens. Today I am chopping up a video and making a guide and for some reason the video broke up into sections where it has what looks like an Big X and the letter A below it and as I move down farther I see another Big X and the letter B.

No Idea how I got this but thought I asked about it.

Also had a question on putting things on the timeline. Sometimes for instance I am working on a video clip line and I want to add an image or another video clip to it. I want to put it right after the clip, like connect it but once in a while it refuses to be placed right after and makes another clip space above it. I can work with it but find it annoying as it makes the work space much bigger than needed.
